Dr. Cockrell received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Cockrell completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Letterman Army Medical Center and in Electrophysiology at the University of California, San Francisco, 1986 – 1989. Dr. Cockrell’s special interests include research and complex ablation therapy, implantable device repair and implant site comfort and cosmetics. He is Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Cockrell has privileges at Washington Adventist Hospital, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, and Suburban Hospital.
