Mark A. Turco, M.D., FACC, FSCAIDr. Turco is the Director of the Center for Cardiac and Vascular Research at Washington Adventist Hospital. He received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at George Washington University Medical Center. Dr. Turco received cardiology and interventional cardiology training at Temple University Hospital, 1992 – 1995. His special interests include the interventional treatment of coronary artery disease, and peripheral arterial disease. He also has special expertise in percutaneous closure of patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defects. Dr. Turco is Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Turco has privileges at Washington Adventist Hospital, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Suburban Hospital, Frederick Memorial Hospital, and Calvert Memorial Hospital.
