Sung W. Lee, M.D., FACC

Dr. Lee is the Director of Electrophysiology Laboratory at the NIH-Heart Center at Suburban Hospital. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Maryland / V.A. Hospitals. Dr. Lee’s fellowships include: National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute at NIH, 1989 – 1993, in the Cardiovascular Section, Molecular Hematology Branch, and George Washington University Medical Center, 1993 – 1995, in Cardiovascular Diseases. He was a director of Electrophysiology Laboratory at the George Washington University Hospital prior to joining the group. His special interest is in catheter based ablative therapies of complex arrhythmias and management of implantable devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac re-synchronization devices. Dr. Lee is Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Dr. Lee has privileges at Washington Adventist Hospital, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, and Suburban Hospital.
